THE ISLAND

Nicknamed “The Garden Isle," Kauai is the lushest of all the Hawaiian Islands. Known to be evergreen, it is also home to beautiful white-sand beaches which are surrounded by swaying coconut palms and is thus considered by many as a picture-perfect tropical island – the perfect location for a get-away from your day-to-day life or as a vacation destination for you to cool off some steam.

Kauai is Hawaii's fourth largest island and geologically, it is the oldest amongst Hawaiian Island covering 562.3 square miles, ranking as the 21st largest island in the United States. Kauai lies 169km across the Kauai channel northwest of Oahu.

An amazing fact about this island is the tropical climate which is generally humid with stable conditions all year round. Although, records have shown some cases of extreme weather due to infrequent storms and some weather phenomena.
